Leadership Canton established in 1994, is a project of the Canton Chamber of Commerce and is designed to ensure a continuing source of skilled, motivated leaders for the Canton community. The program has been developed to help current and potential leaders to refine their awareness of leadership opportunities in the Canton community.

We are all aware that in these tough economic times households as well as businesses look to tighten their belts. Unfortunately, many local charities have seen decreased funding as a result of the economy while simultaneously seeing a dramatically increased need for services.

This year's Leadership Canton class is hosting a Road Rally and Charity Dinner in an effort to raise money for a few great Canton community causes and we need your help.

First Step

First Step's mission is to reduce the incidence of domestic and sexual violence and to provide services to individuals affected by these crimes. Prevention of domestic and sexual violence through education, advocacy and appropriate intervention is their goal.

Open Door Ministry is an outreach to people in need in our community.
Open Door Ministry provides nutritious food, warm clothing and job information to families in 20 different municipalities surrounding Canton.
